Handmade · one at a time

Cards worth keeping in the drawer.

Small-batch greeting cards, cut and inked by hand at a sunlit kitchen table. For birthdays, for holidays, and for the ordinary Tuesdays that deserve a little more than a text.

The Cards

Pick a card. Or let me make one.

Every card is folded, inked, and signed by hand — so no two are quite identical, which I think is the whole point.

Single Card

One handmade card with its envelope. Pick the occasion — or the glorious lack of one.

Founding members: order before our first market table this autumn and I'll tuck a free blank card into your parcel — my way of saying thank you for being early.

How it works

Three small steps, one good card.

Step One

Tell me

Send one email — the occasion, the names, anything you'd like written inside. No accounts, no forms.

Step Two

I make it

I cut, ink, and letter your card by hand at the kitchen table — usually the same afternoon I read your note.

Step Three

It arrives

Wrapped in tissue and posted within 48 hours, ready to slip into a pocket, a bag, or that trusty drawer.

A note from the maker

"I started Card Canvas because the best things I've ever been given were small, handmade, and meant for me — and I wanted to make more of those for other people."

Every card here is something I'd be happy to receive myself: good paper, real copper ink, a fold pressed by hand. It's a young little shop, and you'd be one of its first customers — which honestly means a lot.

Good to know

A few honest answers.

How soon will my card arrive?
Stocked singles and boxes go in the post within 48 hours of your order. Custom cards take a touch longer — usually two to three days while I draw and ink them — and I'll always tell you the date when you book.
How do I actually order?
One email does it. Tell me which card, how many, and where it's going. I'll reply with the total and a simple way to pay — no account to create, no checkout maze.
What can a custom card say?
Anything that fits the moment — an inside joke, a birthday name, a few lines of your own, a colour you love. Send me the details and I'll letter it by hand. If you'd rather it stay blank inside, that's lovely too.
Can I change my mind?
Of course. You can cancel a custom order any time before I start cutting it. And if anything arrives damaged or not as you hoped, reply to your order email and I'll remake it free.
Will you be at local markets?
That's the plan — the first market table is coming this autumn. Email me if you'd like a heads-up on the date, and I'll let you know where to find me.
Let's make something

Send me a note,
I'll send you a card.

Tell me who it's for and what the occasion is. One reply from me and it's on its way — handmade, just for you.
